Milpitas SGD Tofu House

love love love this place! It’s so homey here and I just love their soondubu and the side dishes that come with it. The service here is always so welcoming and I never hesitate to go here when I want comfort food or just food in general ☺️ They do have vegetarian options like veggie bibimbop, veggie pancake, etc.

The banchan is soooo good. I love their fresh kimchi. I always go for the intestine tofu soup. It doesnt taste gamey at all

Tofu soup was great. Side dishes tasted very good. But seafood pancake not recommended.

Good food and Delicious

I absolutely love this place. The medium spicy beef tofu soup is my go-to. Note: side dishes are no longer refillable :(

Tempatnya lumayan luas dan tersedia banyak tempat duduk. Kalau jam makan ramai banget kadang mesti antri. Tofu soupnya lumayan enak dan lumayan spicy di level mild. Seafood pancakenya kurang begitu enak(terlalu tebal). Bulgoginya ok. Untuk side dish dan nasinya disajikan di box, jadi gampang juga kalau kita gak habis tinggal bawa box nya.

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant since they first opened and the food here is consistently good and solid. The upside: The taste of the soup rivals those in LA and the side dishes like their fishcake and kimchee is legendary. The downside: The price keeps rising every time I go, but it’s worth the splurge once in a while, but I’m getting tired of their use of the plastic bento boxes for in-person dining. It’s a good solution for to-go and was acceptable during the height of the pandemic, but I don’t think it’s acceptable anymore. I don’t know if all the plastic is being recycled or not. I’m guessing it’s mostly going into the trash. Not only that, but I don’t want to be continuously be exposed to plastics in my food if possible. The rice and some of the side dishes are hot. I’m putting hot soup into the plastic bento box. I hope the owners read these comments and make adjustments. I will give them 5 stars when this happens.
