Real family vibes. Great down to earth food.

Visited here this morning. I have been visiting this place for years with my biker friends but today it wasn't a good experience. I wanted to change my order within a minute of placing it but I was met with frosty and aggressive "no because it was already cooking!" I said I had literally just placed my order. At that point the young waiter (with black curly hair) then pulled a face at me, shrugged his shoulders and very rudely said "ok what do you want!" I have never experienced this before in all of the years of going there however this behaviour was not acceptable.

Didn't rate food as I was there for a coffee, very polite and helpful

Staff were really welcoming and kind having a joke and taking care of us with drinks and clearing the table while there. Will be back again I'm sure.

Cosy place and great food, always a stop when we're travelling on that strip of M25
