Great Place to meet the locals of Williamson. Great bartender. When Garlic is in season this is the place to be
This is the ULTIMATE dive bar serving craft beer. We were not sure we were in the right place at first as it is down a 2-lane road off the main drag (Grand River Ave). Even after we pulled in, we were unsure and had to ask a patron sitting on their deck who told us we were there and would not regret stopping in. I had the Pale Ale (no branding, I love it!), and it was effing delicious! It was one of the best beers, iin my opinion. Real tasty! My wife had a couple of others which I tasted and did not care for, but I am not knocking MBW for them. The place is a real dive, but in a good way. I really dig rundown joints that have great drinks, patrons, and owners. Speaking of... the owner, Bobby, was such a nice guy. He was hospitable and talked all about his life. He was an absolute gem, and I would go back just to talk with him some more. The place looks like it is a work in progress with no beer menu or prices on the wall. It appears they are working on an eating area (the owner is a smoker officionado) and has a ton of outdoor space. Bobby makes all of the beer, the liquor and also plants a garlic garden. He sells the liquor and fresh garlic on the premises. I really loved this place and highly recommend you patronizing.
Great hidden gem a little off the beaten path. Quiet place to grab a good pint and or house made spirit of your liking. Bar tender and service was great! Especially liked the IPA and their house made whiskey.
Some really great beer is brewed here. The owner is very present and fun to talk to. He makes tequila, vodka, rum to name a few and they are really good. He is working on putting in a kitchen and he sells garlic that he grows on site. Really a great place!
Beer and atmosphere are excellent.
Everyone we meet were exceptionally friendly. They made us feel like old friends!
Engaging bartender. Beers were good.
