We have ate here for many years, today was such a disappointment. My husband ordered his usual with potato pancakes they were basically mashed potatoes that they fried not the shredded potatoes that is typical German and how they have always made them. I ordered schnitzel with mushroom gravy, what I got was processed and definitely microwaved no flavor and the mushroom gravy was just a white sauce with no flavor. We go here for special occasions with family since my mother was from Germany. I and my entire family will definitely not be going back since they have definitely made changes to the way the food is prepared!
If you’re interested in trying German food, this is a good place to go. We had no wait to sit down on 6pm on Sunday. The waitress was very hurried the entire time, rushing us during ordering and throughout the evening. We ordered and food came out quickly. The salmon pasta was just average at best. However, the potato pancakes were perfectly crispy and well balanced. My husband rated the Reuben a 4/5, he’s had better but would order it again. Overall, prices are quite steep for the amount and flavor of the food. Overall, not a horrible experience, but likely not a place we would return to again.
Great German restaurant with large portions.
Great food, atmosphere, and service.
