Looks a little rundown and the bathrooms were not clean. Food was okay, nothing out of this world
Food was great as always for our usual weekly breakfast treat…
Wow, fresh and delicious food! I had an omelet with turkey. Portions are big, probably two people could eat from one serving. Customer service/guest service was fantastic!
Great selection, fast, efficient service
Marlon was NOT our server but they way he maneuvered this establishment (bussing tables, helping server, helping the host/hostesses) one would think he was management.... Kiara was our server and she was amazing as well.. anyone who can keep my husband hydrated is always an excellent server to us because he likes to have the pitcher left on the table ... lol Manager Valerie was nice and sweet and spoke highly of her staff. The food.. oh yeah... DELICIOUS!! Fried chicken was fried to freaking perfection juicy throughout!! 10/10 for sure!!
Overall great food and service but the bathrooms need updating to deal with the obvious plumbing issues. We got there on a busy Saturday morning and there was a 30 minute wait for a table. Luckily, there were a couple of open seats directly at the counter so we grabbed those. It felt like eating at a nicer version of Waffle House. Despite being completely slammed, every server and cook I witnessed was knocking it out of the park. Everyone looked overwhelmed but kept going and it's becoming less and less often to find good work ethic and customer service when dining out lately. Now for the best part- the chicken and waffles. This was definitely in the top 3 I've ever had. The chicken (bone in) was fried perfectly with a flavorful coating that was actually seasoned properly and not bland at all. The waffle was crisp on the outside and had good flavor but the strawberry butter is really what makes it. If you're looking to splurge on some calories this is the dish to go with. This place is worth the stop if you're in the area.
