Mel's Fish Shack is owned and operated by Mel's own Daughter, Georgette Powell who took over from her father in 2001. With over 30 years of experience, you can find her in the kitchen frying fish or taking orders up front. This family owned business likes to make sure its customers are well taken care of. Over the years, Mel’s distinguished itself from its competition, by expanding their grilled menu to include healthier options such as grilled salmon salad with its own signature ginger vinaigrette dressing and grilled fish wraps served with their delicious garlic dill sauce. Our southern-style sides are a great way to round out any meal. Not only they are a delicious, comforting addition to the plate, but they also offer a lot of variety.
