Melrose Oyster House & Beach Club

Melrose Oyster House is located on the ocean within the Melrose community on the stunning Daufuskie Island, SC. Often referred to as the "most beautiful spot" on the island, we are situated less than 100 yards from the shore, with a newly constructed boardwalk leading directly to the beach. Sea turtles nest in our backyard while dolphins play in the surf. Our restaurant offers an incredible mix of local seafood, fresh vegetables, and perfectly cooked steaks, all in an open-air setting that is simply stunning. With a rotation of more than 40 oysters, 10-12 available at any given time, we always have something for everyone.
