Mellow Mushroom Charlotte-Uptown

My experience at Mellow Mushroom was horrible. The food toke approximately 40 minutes. We never had gotten our appetizer until the food came out and only after we complained. I have worked in the service industry and I would have understood if it was because there were too many people. This was not the case though even though it was Valentine’s Day. Our server only had maybe 3 tables if that. The food was good after 40 min we asked for ranch and we got up charged for it. Though you would think if it toke 40 min for the food to get out you could get at least free ranch. We also never got our drinks refilled once. The cheese bread also looked very flimsy not like garlic bread at all. The ranch was also not that good either.

Pizza works amazing the atmosphere was greater services totally bad the bartender was upset about something so she took it out on let the food

Everything from the moment we walked in the door until we left was perfect as it always is at this location! The Holy Shitake pizza is super! The greeting at the door shows they truly value their customers! Great interaction with the bartenders as we dined! Be proud of yourselves at this location! See you all again soon!

We were there with a large team, so the long wait was expected, but I ordered the Funky Q Chicken, and there was more bread than sauce or toppings. My Arnold Palmer was also like liquid sugar. I just feel like in the rush (although it took an hour to get our food and an additional 39 minutes to get our ticket), the high quality was lost; this location had an off day. Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere was festive and kid-friendly, however.
