McAlister's Deli

Great place to eat.

Looked up the hours to make sure they are open. Got there and the business was closed down for the day - three hours before their closing time!!!

Delicious lunch and very attentive staff

We love McAlister's. But this time was a terrible experience. The cashier told us the sides all cost extra but when my wife ordered one there wasn't an extra charge. The sign said a side was included with a sandwich order. Then when we got our food my daughter's sandwich had what appeared to be 4 blades of grass on it. Pictured.

I just got a French dip sandwich, in combo. The salad was great. The sandwich, one thin piece of meat, overcooked with crispy edges. I asked an employee if that was how it should look. Yes, we have a new recipe was her response.

We were served by Nick, what an exceptional young man! He most definitely deserves to be praised for his professionalism, hospitality, and genuine courtesy. Thank you, Nick!

Always good soup selection and quick service.

I travel to Indiana frequently from Iowa & I enjoy the lemonade. This time I was told they do not sell Lemonade by the gallon! They had not been selling it for over a month! I called corporate, I will not go back to this one again. Just stop by the one in Merrillville for a gallon instead. Just a note, inflation is ending catch up with pricing & lower your numbers to reflect this. A gallon of lemonade > $10! Ridiculous!
