Worst place I've ever ordered from, meat only on 1/2 sammie. Potato was cold
Not a lot of effort in making there spuds and salad's. Just thrown together.
Decided to try a new sandwich place. We drive by here so much but never took the time to stop in. It may take a couple times visiting to find our favorite menu item. I got the chicken club no tomato and no mustard. It was good but maybe a little bland because the mustard would probably have given it a little zing. My veggie spud was good but the red onion was a little strong so I had to pick it off, that’s on me I should have asked for no onions. Hubby got southwest chicken sandwich and he said it was delicious. We shared a butter pecan cheesecake and it was very heavy on the butter pecan taste, which left my tastebuds wanting it to be ice cream. The consistency didn’t match and it wasn’t really cold, so I think it was just something new and my tastebuds weren’t happy with that. All in all, it didn’t blow my mind but the staff was nice and helpful. The bathrooms were clean so I was more than comfortable using them. Hubby didn’t complain about the bathrooms either, which is saying something.
This McAllisters deli was so friendly and inviting and helpful before Covid I came in a lot however after covid only one person has smiles at front counter( Lexi) all the rest don’t smile or look happy to be there that’s why I have not been in as often even the cooks smile here and there that was the only reason for the low rating I have been driving to the friendlier one where everyone is friendly and energetic In Elkhart even though it’s the farthest from my house
Great soups and even better sandwiches Parking: Plenty of parking spaces available
They ran out of pickles! Previously ran out of potatoes, though big signs brag about giant spuds! Liked the fresh fruit cup.
I do not recommend what they call chili. It is like eating finely ground beef in tomato soup flavored with chili powder. The grilled chicken on a croissant is deli meat not grilled chicken. Taste okay though.
