Nice pub with straight forward food. Great stop if you're walking the canal.
Excellent food service and dog friendly in the bar so couldn't ask for more
We were looking for a bite to eat on our way to a wedding function in this area and found this place on maps so popped in. The staff were very friendly and we were seated and served in no time. The food was really excellent I have to say. I had a lamb and mint burger and my wife had haggis quesadillas and soup and everything was spot on. Not too expensive either. There's a restaurant side and a (on our visit anyway) a busier bar area that we only spotted on the way out so you have a choice of noise and sport on the TV or a quieter restaurant. This place is only 5 mins or so off the M9 so worth a visit if you're heading back into Edinburgh from a day out or something.
Went with Family ... waitresses were very helpful and pleasant. Food was lovely and served piping hot Wheelchair accessibility: Permanant Ramp in place
Great lunch. So good I only remembered to take a picture of the starter! The burger was awesome though! Great spot for a casual lunch.
One of my favourite local eateries and it never disappoints. Very friendly staff, service is excellent and very quick. A great place for families and highly recommend
Went on a wednesday place has been closed Monday and Tuesday. As soon as you enter the restaurant your overcome with a bad smell of damp. Time was 6:30 and there was only one table of 2 in the restaurant, place was dead. Food was strange choices and below standard. Garlic bread with cheese. Basically warm brown seeded break with the smallest fraction of grated cheese and chopped spring onion, not good Macaroni and chips served with warm seeded bread. Macaroni was okay tasted of mustard. chips frozen but the best part. Chicken balmoral below standard dry Wouldn’t repeat the visit left feeling hungry and unsatisfied also quite expensive for what it is.
We we're allowed to spend the night in the parking lot with our motorhome. We had a lovely evening in this pub, the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious.
Went here for valentines and took the kids as we had a look on fb and food looked good with variety for fussy kids but be warned that's not what you get when you're there we got dirt cheap nachos also the smash burger definitely isn't a smash burger and the chips are just skin on fries from Iceland, I work hard and feel so disappointed with food like this why can't the chefs in these places cook simple meals im actually angry and wasn't cheap at £70 4pm on valentines day and we were the only customers speaks volumes, at one point we wanted to walk out won't be back and to think we came from dunfermline to try it so disappointed
