Was looking forward to eating at this establishment. Food was decent, not the best but not the worst. Service was very passive aggressive, it was off putting and ruined the entire experience

This morning, my family and I embarked on a celebratory breakfast journey at Matt and Tony's, and let me tell you, it was an experience worth raving about. With my brother-in-law's recent career achievement as the backdrop, we indulged in a feast fit for champions. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with an atmosphere brimming with warmth and charm. The light and refreshing cocktails set the perfect tone for the morning ahead, offering a delightful prelude to the culinary delights that awaited us. Speaking of delights, the food at Matt and Tony's did not disappoint. The portions were generous, the flavors robust, and the presentation impeccable. We sampled an array of dishes, from the savory steak and potatoes to the crispy country fried chicken, each one a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to quality. Personal favorites included the salmon toast, a symphony of flavors atop perfectly toasted bread, and the classic chicken & waffles, a harmonious blend of sweet and savory that left us craving more. Our waitress, K.J., deserves special commendation for her outstanding service. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. If I had one small quibble, it would be the lack of bottomless options or more affordable pricing for their champagne bottle service. While the quality was unquestionably high, it would have been nice to have a bit more flexibility in terms of indulging in our bubbly desires. In conclusion, Matt and Tony's Breakfast Delight exceeded all expectations. From the delectable cuisine to the impeccable service, it's a dining destination that I will undoubtedly return to again and again. If you're in the mood for a breakfast experience that's as memorable as it is delicious, look no further than Matt and Tony's.

I have been wanting to visit this place for months and today I finally had time to so I was happy about it. I was seated immediately which was nice since I was at least 10 -15 earlier than my reservation. I had a cocktail called the Poinsettia mule to start. It was okay. For my meal, I chose the shrimp and grits and a single waffle (which came with fresh fruit and syrup). The shrimp and andouille sauce was very good but there were only a few spoonfuls of grits in comparison to the sauce. If I had to guess it was like 1/2 cup of grits to 2 cups of sauce. I would recommend more grits and less sauce! It was just way too saucy for me. I was seated in the very front of the restaurant so I could not really see what the rest of the establishment looked like. The music was good but it was sooooo loud due to the other patrons conversations, etc. so people that want to have a conversation while eating may not like that so much. Other than that it was just okay.

Great food and drinks, very friendly staff. We will go back when visiting family in Del Ray! Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating to our 8month old grand daughter!

This place was crazy crowded for a brunch. Maybe it's me, but when I order biscuits and gravy I expect a white gravy, not a chorizo reddish color. Even the regular eggs and bacon breakfast was not super stellar. They were just ok. I would go there again, not for those prices and flavors.

We ordered the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer. It was very good and I really like the pickled onion served with it. I got a salad with protein and it was served on a rather small plate, it probably would’ve been easier to eat in a large bowl. My fiancé ordered the Caesar salad with steak, the steak was cooked perfectly. I’ve been here a few times and the Patty Melt is also very tasty. The service was great, our server was personable and attentive. The location is excellent, I would highly recommend sitting on the patio.
