Great little hole in the wall noodle shop Vegetarian options: They have a couple of specific vegetarian noodle bowls on the menu
Good, authentic ramen. Great pork soup base and perfectly cooked ramen noodles served by wonderful staff. My family has beem coming to Matsu Chan for years and though it had been about 10 years since I had last visited, I’m pleased to see it is still frequented by many. Expect a short wait as it has a smaller dining room of about 20 seats.
Very cozy and home-style atmosphere. Food is delicious with great portions. Can’t wait to come back and try other yummy looking dishes.
Hands down, the best Ramen in Detroit and worth the drive to the suburbs. If you visit this hidden gem, don't expect anything fancy, but if you are in the mood for great Ramen this family run restaurant is for you. Expect a wait, limited seating, but it's worth the wait.
Amazing food at a great price! Small place though so there might be a wait.
First off, their ramen is fantastic. Especially the tonkotsu broth which is very authentic. The portions are big and the prices very reasonable. Their other food is good, but come here for the ramen. Unfortunately, like many small restaurants post-pandemic, they have staffing issues. Our server, a young blonde haired woman, was rude and dismissive. Absolutely come here for the ramen! Though I'll likely be getting takeout moving forward. Vegetarian options: They have good vegetarian ramen broths, which a lot of ramen places don't
かなり残念な日本食でした。麺類は特に避けた方が良い。
