Easily, EASILY one of the top 5 food experiences, of my entire life. They have a dish called "Marrow" w bone marrow and short ribs - served in the Bone! It was awesome. Plus as a bonus the full experience is to have a shot of Sherry or Bourbon down the bone channel after - I left that picture out - it was epic. A must try dish/experience (and side note they have a really good Special right now: a Turnip dish with Ramps, which I had never heard of before but was great)
A fun place to go and share dinner with friends.
Creative fusion of Southern and Spanish. Great ciders. Knowledgeable wait staff will help you enjoy your meal.
Great food. Best paella I have had outside of Spain. Margaritas (regular and spicy) very underwhelming and served with dry limes that had no juice. Wine is over priced. Host and hostess were friendly and welcoming. Our server may have just been having a bad day, but she never introduced herself, never smiled, was annoyed when we asked if we could see the wine list again, and removed the wine bottle with some left in it. You could tell she wanted to be anywhere but here. She really ruined the fun vibe of the place and the food.
Let me first say that the food and service were nice the evening we went there. We went on Valentines day with another couple and had been sent a fixed menu just a few days beforehand. We had chosen tapas instead of a typical steakhouse for the variety of choices they offered, so we were a bit thrown off with a small fixed menu. The Valentines menu included the price at the top which we had incorrectly assumed was per couple. Just to be sure, we asked a floating server who was giving us water, and they informed us it was $75 per person. It's the closest I've come to walking out of a restaurant before anything had been ordered. No where in the email or on the actual menus was the price listed per person. I don't mind a higher price tag but I do like to be a well-informed consumer. Without any drinks, taxes, or fees our bill was going to be $300 for the 4 of us. All of this to select from a very limited menu. As I said, decent food, but we won't be back.
The food was shockingly bad. My theory is the chef was drunk because the flavors were so disproportionate to each other. Ruined my anniversary
Stopped by this place on sat night, thank goodness we had a reservation cause the place was packed. It is kind of an interesting place, with a huge bar and upscale food presentation. Having the bar meant there was a long list of drink options, including beer and wine. Overall, I thought the food was ok as nothing really wowed me. We had an awesome waiter, though, very attentive and social. With a carafe of sangria, 2 deviled eggs, and a few meal options, we finished with over $100 bill. It was an experience, it just fell short of my expectations.
This place is way overrated. Our food was overcooked and dry. The duck and rice was almost entirely rice. I let the waiter know that there was no duck in the rice, and he tried to gaslight me and tell me it was shredded up and mixed in. I let him know after we ate some more that there was definitely not much duck in and he just shrugged, took it away, and didn’t offer to add more duck to it or take it off the check. The waiter never checked to see if I wanted another drink. The clams were overcooked but the sauce was tasty. The paella was seasoned well but also was overcooked and most of the seafood and ham was dry. We were seated close to the door and the host didn’t keep the curtain closed around the door so cold air kept rushing in. Also, people who were waiting on their table hovered near our table and were very annoying. The place is too small, super loud, and apparently they can’t get their guests seated on time. I won’t be going back.
