High-energy New American chain with wood-fired pizzas & bistro fare served in industrial-chic digs. Located on the bustling 8th Street corridor of Barracks Row, our second location in Washington, D.C. was built out of love for the revered Capitol Hill neighborhood. A former vending machine warehouse built in 1927, some of the treasures found in this building are skylights covered up for decades, original timber beams, and a shuffleboard that now serves as the main bar top. Our lofty mezzanine accommodates 44 guests seated, or 30 guests standing, so there’s plenty of space for intimate dinners, private parties and get-togethers. For the best seat in the house, ask for “the Box.” It’s the original cube booth that we’re famous for.
