Mason Street Grill

Sat in the bar area of this Pfister Hotel restaurant, and it was nice, upbeat, and perfect for professionals looking for a drink and a nice meal. Unfortunately, there were guests offered seats at a wobbling table. As soon as they sat down, it was obvious that the table should be removed from the area. However, it stayed put just waiting for guest after quest to experience the same disappointment. The staff should have been more thoughtful and had taken better initiative with this matter. The food was really good. I had the filet, and it was made perfectly. The rest of the party also enjoyed their steaks.

The absolute most mind-blowing filet mignon of my life. I have no idea how they achieved such perfection. And I am a NYC native having been to every famous place there is. Simply wow

Excellent steaks grilled in wooden oven Parking: Paid parking lot located conveniently right across the street. Perfect location to park and walk there.

Excellent food and superb service!

Right off the bat... friendly attentative hosteses. The restaurant was beautiful. Great bread and sparkling waterr upon request. The drinks were tasty and robust. The salad was fresh and crisp. I choose the filet medallions with foie gras... it was nothing less than ahhhmazing. I definitely recommend. I was too full for dessert but there's an item I'm definitely coming back for!I appreciate this restaurant.

Was really excited to bring friends from out of state to their first supper club. Unfortunately, we decided to try a new one and the food was a let down. Two people at the table ordered their steaks med well. One came out medium rare and the other came out medium well. My medium rare steak was perfectly cooked, but my friend just ate their steak so they didn't have to wait any longer. The server only asked if we were missing anything when they checked in on us, nothing about the food quality or how the temperature of the steak being to our liking. Apparently, one of our sides was delivered to the wrong table, but this is the same excuse we heard for another table next to us. We ended up getting dessert elsewhere due to long wait times and the restaurant getting busy around the time of eating dessert. Maybe an off night, but this is not a place I will be returning to. There was no management in sight or checking on tables, which would have been helpful with an obviously newer server.
