Perfect place for real southern meals
Very nice place and the food is great. The service is also amazing. I am only upset it took me so long to visit. I will definitely be returning here again! The fried chicken is the best and the collard greens reminds me of my grandma’s cooking. Parking: They had security. Kid-friendliness: Reasonable priced food items that kids will eat.
Lousy service, long wait would not go back
we did a work lunch and it was amazing
Liz made the experience a pleasure . Her service was excellent and our concerns were immediately addressed. The food was not what I was accustomed to from the Mary Mac's of old - no peach muffins, no homemade mini cinnamon rolls, and the food was rather bland. What happened to the seasoning? Oh well, everyone has an off day. I'll try again before I call it quits with this classic Atlanta landmark.
Food was amazing... our server was super helpful and very efficient
I only gave 3 stars because the hype of the food is not even worth waiting so long for. I can say the service was good the bartender she was great. I wouldn’t eat there again or recommend this place. The food was either salty or some items bland the Mac and cheese had no flavor. Cornbread very dry we didn’t even take a full bite. I would say the tomato pie the meatloaf and the peach cobbler was the best out of all the items we got and the fried chicken wasn’t bad but not worth the wait the food was average.
