Our favorite spot to eat! The food is always excellent and affordable. Portions to fill you up, in a nice cozy atmosphere
Best restaurant in Windsor, no questions asked.
Love the cashew nut chicken...best! The sushi and vegetable fried rice is also good.
So delicious. The chicken katsu was cooked perfectly well and we love the gyoza! Big portions too for a great price. 9.5
We tried this restaurant for the first time tonight (Valentine's Day)! We loved it. The food is first rate! You've never had teriyaki until you've had it here! (I always thought it was that super-sweet bottled stuff!) Everything was very fresh and perfectly cooked by the very talented (and very busy) owner. He kept his eye on every table, making sure that each course came out on time.I had the hibachi filet mignon (with a generous serving of awesome vegetables). It was served with soup, salad and rice. My friend had the teriyaki rib eye - which was awesome! Very delicate. The server was super sweet and the restaurant atmosphere is very zen on a shoestring. The prices were very reasonable in today's marketplace. We will definitely come back!
Can't make Tom Yum non spicy when they said they can make it. Never had non-vegetarian Futomaki. This is more of a Thai restaurant rather than a Japanese restaurant.
I always enjoy going to the Marukin. The staff a very friendly, the food is incredible I definitely feel satisfied after my Bento box dinner. I 100% recommend you going to the Marukin restaurant. Thank you to all the staff for the outstanding service.
The best teriyaki in the city! they have the best lunch box style meal ever! love this place
Small cozy place with clean, fresh sushi. I worked there as a student 15+ years back and dine there every chance I got. The kitchen is clean and food will only cook when ordered. It's an established business, so they know how much customer to expect year round with a little extra. The place is small and cozy, but guaranteed to have fresh food. They never over-stock on their ingredients, plus they have a personal supply grocery store that deliver every week, as needed. Since the regulated salt-contents on food from the government, they reduced down the saltiness to what I not preferred, but that can easily fix with more soy-sauce. The owner tries to keep the Japanese-authenticity flavor as much as possible. I especially recommend their Namayasai salad (love the house sauce), yaki udon, bento box, spider rolls, futomaki roll and the sashimi dish. Many parking spaces in the lot. The plaza is a tucked away in a hidden corner, but the place is worth trying. Totally recommend this restaurant for you sushi needs.
