An authentic lebanese joint. It has delectable shawarmas and lovely salads. Take away or eat in, you’ll not forget the wonderful experience
Forget the bad reviews. Yes, it isn’t the fanciest restaurant. Yes, decoration could be better. I don’t care about all of that. This is hands down the best Lebanese food outside Lebanon I’ve ever had and I’ve been twice to Lebanon. The hummus is perfectly blended with the right and minimum amount of garlic and babaganush is another level. Although cypriot by nature, I also think they have the best grilled halloumi in town. Shout out to the Druze Lebanese waiter and the Algerian and Romanian cooks. Best of all? Is open until 4:30am!
Ok for a quick dinner. Polite and helpful staff, food was well made, although the portions could be better for the price. I had to order 2 main dishes (mixed grill and lamp chops) 19.5+21.5 £ just for these two.
Bit disappointing what 20 GBP gets you
Excellente saveurs, accueil très chaleureux, nous reviendrons merci
We had a great time dining out for Easter Sunday lunch at Maroush. The food was delicious and it was enough to share a main course and 2 separate starters. I had a glass of Lebanese red wine and an espresso to finish, including Baklava sweets for dessert. For a meal for 2, it was not too expensive. Around £30 a head - I would say is decent for London. We spent around 2 hours in here and it was not busy at all and a friendly atmosphere. Vegetarian options: There was a large list of vegetarian & vegan options as there are many things which are not meat-based. Such as Falafel, Hummus and several other delicacies. Even the pastry delicacies cater well for vegetarians. Dietary restrictions: There are a number of meals which cater for dietary restrictions. So it is well covered here.
