Best tamales in the area by far! They are enormous! The masa is seasoned and not bland and they FILL the tamales with so much delicious meat! From end to end! I can only eat half of one. The people are extremely friendly and you can tell they really believe in the quality of their food.

The fat guy with glasses is super rude and asked me to leave because I told him his birria has gone bad and still expected me to eat it even after it smelled rotten and his waitress also agreed with me. Mind you I had literally been there less than 10 minutes and he already said to go else where. He refused to get me something else because he said this was a LOSS for him even though you can clearly smell the food had gone bad. What should I have done, eaten it and get food poisoning? Unfortunately he’s the owner. So disappointed don’t waste your time or money here horrible customer service and very disappointing.

Incredibley good pupusas that aren't over-priced like many places out here. Probably the best in the AV or at least in Lancaster. Always stuffed and the masa is hardly ever ruptured. It's also essentially a diner for Latinos and Central Americans (Salvadoreños y Guatemaltecos) so it's a great breakfast spot. Only wish the operating hours were extended, but I understand as it is also an actual bakery.

Maribels is such a hidden gem. They have the best authentic food in the AV. I love their huaraches de asada, pambazos, pupusas and tamales and we recently discovered we love the coffee cake! The green chicken tamales even come with an extra side of green salsa that tastes so good if you pour it on top. They literally never miss and the food is always good, I feel like I’m eating my moms home cooking everytime I order.

Great prices

I’ve been going to Maribels bakery for years. Never had a problem with them, and the cakes have always been beautiful and delicious. Recently I made an order for my wife’s birthday and was told that they had a new owner. The pricing was insane compared what it used to be, and I was called last minute and told that they had to cancel my order. This place isn’t what it used to be, and their customer service is horrendous.
