Malmaison Bar & Grill Belfast

Food & drinks: Attended here for a colleagues leaving do with cocktails and nibbles , had a great night , very relaxing , great company and location . The guy doing the cocktail making was very pleasant and relaxed . Only feedback I would give would be to iron your shirt and bring a bit more energy to the cocktail making . Other wards thank you for a relaxing and pleasant evening !

Dinner was phenomenal Walkability: Everything is nearby

90 minutes in half the appetizers arrived, 10 more minutes and we were out of there. Shameful.

5* for service. I arrived to stay in the hotel and the restaurant had closed just a few mins but the very attentive waiter ordered me a steak with a glass of wine and looked after me even when the kitchen was officially closed. Very kind staff.

Wonderful food and really good wines. Service was excellent.

The hotel is lovely. That’s why we were surprised the Chez Mal experience was so atrocious—we ordered two steaks, two cocktails, and an appetizer. The appetizer never came (with no explanation), the steaks were terribly over cooked (my partner ordered his rare, but it came as medium), and the service was nearly non-existent. We also did not order sauce with our steaks, but yet we’re charged for sauces with each. Would absolutely not be returning to the restaurant as there are so many great restaurants in Belfast with great service. We’d gladly stay at the hotel again any time though.

Absolutely shocking to say the least I came from Dublin to a dog friendly hotel to be told we could not sit in the bar with a miniature dog but had to sit in the lobby it was 9pm 3 people in the bar why would anybody refuse to allow a small pet in an pet friendly hotel without making a clear statement before booking I explained my situation and was simply refused by bar manager even though foh tried to help ..never again
