Stopped nearby for shoes and the wife got hungry for lunch so we have this place a try. Great atmosphere. Laid back. Nothing to much to overwhelm you. Staff was helpful in answering questions, even gave me a sampling of all the mole sauces they serve. A nice variety of salsa levels. Everything has great taste while not trying to be over the top with spice. I got the arrachera steak with mole pistache. Fantastic. Everything was a good blend of traditional cooking with modern tones. Good stuff. PS. My wife got there flight of ritas and said the pineapple was the best of the 3.
I ordered the Pechuga Azteca, as Im eating it once ai check the middle its pink! Raw chicken is not ok and dangerous! The manager did not offer a sorry or a complementary Drink, dessert nothing. Not coming back here again
Margaritas not good, guacamole good, fajitas good, atmosphere okay, service not good. All margaritas were offered skinny, on the rocks, or up according to the menu. My wife and I ordered the margarita flight and she ordered hers skinny. Waiter said this would not be possible given that they were premixed. 2/3 margaritas were extremely sweet and tasted like pure fruit juice. Salsa was good and the fajitas en molcajete was fun and good. Waiter weirdly took 15 minutes to give us the check even though our entire table had been bussed in that time. Overall it was fine, just order a beer and flag down your waiter.
Been here a few times and I always get the guac. And can never go wrong with drinks. Kid-friendliness: They were great even when our 3yo started getting tired after dinner.
Good tequila menu and solid apps. The real problem was the $55 ribeye. They ask what temp you’d like it cooked to but they serve it on a cast iron plate. Ordered it medium rare and it was well don 3 min later. It was also extremely thin. Would not recommend ordering steak here.
Delicious red sangria and fresh, flavorful salsas. I appreciate that they're willing to hold certain ingredients to accommodate my special diet. Service is always lovely.
Best Table Guac! Love the mole fajitas..
