This is a cool little Oyster Bar. We stopped with 4 adults and a 20 month old after spending the day on the Harris Chain fishing and cruising. The beer was cold and the food was great. We shared fried oysters, frog legs, raw oysters and fried shrimp. It was all very good. Our waitress paid special attention to our little guy in the group bringing him some fries and garlic bread before we even ordered. He was happy. The place is a little rustic. Don’t expect a spotless and polished place, but it was clean and the food and drinks were good. We dropped $125 for the 4 of us with a couple beers. Will be back.
My girlfriend and I went to Magnolias for oysters and class. The Garlic Parmesan oysters where good but the clams where absolutely awful. They were so chewy (either they were old dead clams or severely over cooked) that they were like pencil erasers, plus they were full of sand. I tryed to eat 4 and pushed it way. The manager came over and asked if I like my food and I told her the truth about both items and she just shrugged it off. No attempt to make it right in any way. Add on top of that it is not a full bar and I will never be back.
Was looking for some good seafood with a dive bar feel. This place didn’t disappoint. Wow, excellent oysters and the fish platters were unbelievable. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
Great chowder. Good fried .

Decided to try Oyster bar near my city. The food and service was superb. The oysters were nice size and delicious. If you are in the area stop on by parking in on the street and spots are limited. Busy spot.. I will definitely visit more often Parking: Parking is available in the street and spots are limited
