The food at Maggianos used to be reliably good. Not sure what has happened, but they changed the bread and it is terrible now. Also, The Rigatoni D that we always used to crave is way too salty now and the lettuce in the salad looked as if some was not fresh. Definitely not worth it anymore. Come on Maggianos, stick to what worked!
Our server was Adam and he was very attentive on a very busy homecoming night. Our food was delicious. We had lobster carbonara and branzini crab. Both were amazing. The cream sauce in both dishes we so so good. We also had fried Calamari which was very good too; It was lightly battered. Service was terrific. Adam was very pleasant and helpful; his wine selection was right on.
Great food, great service and the love of my life. Perfect date night.
I like the atmosphere and the variety of items you can bring a large party and everybody can find something they like🤗
This building was beautifuly breathe taking. They have delicious food served in family style servings. The service is excellent and comforting. Highly recommend.
Went for an event and thought the event was fun, the restaurant had several issues. They picked a custom menu yet didn't choose wines that paired with the menu. Though the first course was good, they botched the second course. The chicken in the piccata was beyond overdone to the point it was crispy. Even more, the bartender kept trying to accuse me of having not starting a tab and claimed I never gave him my debit card. After I got other servers involved, they "miraculously" found the card.
UPDATE 10/2024: My daughter and I returned to Maggiano's for the first time in about a year, I think. First thing I noticed is prices went up significantly. I'm not holding this against them as this is happening everywhere, but there were only two meals on the menu that were under $20, the spaghetti (19.95) and a lunch special with a half sandwich and soup or salad (15.95.). I previously marked this as $10-$20 a person but it needs to be $20-$30 now or higher - I had eggplant Parmesan, my daughter has fettuccine alfredo, we each had a soft drink and it came to $62.76 after tax but before tip. I just checked my bank history and on my last visit, 9/2023, our bill WITH tip was $60.33 and we had an appetizer. All the prices were up around 30% or more.
The service was a little slow but not terrible and the waitress was very polite, it looked like she was serving about 7 tables. My main complaint was the quality of the eggplant Parmesan, which I loved on the last visit. The crust was very thick and hard on the eggplant, I do not believe it was freshly fried. Also, the pasta had a faintly chemical taste.
I may come back again and see if the drop in food quality was a one time aberration, but the higher price puts me off a little.
ORIGINAL REVIEW
I hadn't been to one of these in over a decade, recently went for a work lunch. Food was great, second only to Two Guys from Italy. I had the eggplant parmesan and it was great - crust was crispy, eggplant perfectly cooked. I'll definitely be returning.
I love the atmosphere. Great service. Food is delicious.
A beautiful and clean place to dine
Great food and service very inviting. Whether it's for 2 or a family of 4 or more great place to enjoy a great piping hot Italian meal .
Chelsea was great and the food was as well!
We love this place. We also have amazing service but Jennifer went above and beyond. My in laws were in town for a wedding and we brought them here for a great experience. They loved Jennifer's interaction, professionalism, food advice and great humor. Thank you Jennifer for making my in laws feel welcomed.
Waiters were incompetent or racist. Was with a group, when I made a request it was ignored, he ran fast for the white women at the table.
Maggiano’s Little Italy has been a staple for me for decades, and it never disappoints! Every time I step inside, it feels like coming home. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for family dinners or special occasions. The food? Absolutely amazing. From their famous lasagna to the classic chicken parm, every dish is cooked to perfection with authentic Italian flavors.
The service is always top-notch—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Their portions are generous, and the option for a take-home meal is a huge plus. Whether you’re there for a casual meal or celebrating something special, Maggiano’s consistently delivers on taste, service, and atmosphere. A true 5-star experience every single time!
