A small but well designed cafe, the food is always tasty and the coffee is good & strong. The staff are lovely & service is first class, bookings are highly recommended as it gets very busy

Brilliant cafe for brunch. Plenty of choice the food is beautiful and service exceptional. Love visiting here. The only tiny down fall is its very tight inside.

Booking Recommended. You get a feeling a place must be good when every table has a reserved sign on it! We got lucky and sat in the window seats, but only for an hour as these were reserved too. Unfortunately we were just too late for breakfast (you can get a Full Derbyshire breakfast all day, but neither of us eat meat) so I had the Garlic & Thyme Open Toasted Sourdough, my partner had the Homemade Quiche of the Day (three cheese and spring onion) and we shared some loaded fries. Friendly staff, good service and delicious food. While we were eating, we could hear the staff turning people away on the phone as they had no more space. Would highly recommend eating here, but book first. Next time I'm in Alfreton I'll be coming here earlier, for breakfast.

Outstanding place A total hidden gem The staff are absoloutly brilliant, the food is excellent, the decor and the vibe all adds to it. Not a thing to fault, very highly recommended.
