Hazel was our waitress and she was amazing. She recommended the perfect drink, starter, and entree. Her personality is very pleasant and she you can tell she genuinely enjoys her job. Applause for the chef for great taste and delivery of food.

Seated for about ten minutes, no service. People seated after us were getting service.

Foods good wait staff couldn’t care less how they take care of customers. I ordered a brisket bbq platter which comes with 2 sides server comes and gives me a Philly wrap I tell him that’s not mine he says “okay let me go see” walks off comes back 30 seconds later drops it in front of me and says “okay this is yours” and walks off. Also bc of this they charged me extra for my second side. I’m not picky or dramatic so I ate it And enjoyed it and just tipped a lot less but it’s disrespectful as wait staff to make your screw up a customers inconvenience the whole place just felt disorganized as far as wait staff

Excellent food and friendly service! Loved the burnt ends and hush puppies! Manager April was a lot of fun and kept checking in with us about our Virginia Tech game. Made us feel very welcome! Highly recommended spot!

Amazing wings, smoked are delicious. BBQ, collards, burnt ends, hush puppies were all fantastic. Great service and attention to needs and details. April the manager is so great and welcoming, cares about your customer experience. But…. She roots for Florida State which is puke worthy. Boooooo

I’ve been here twice for food now and a few times for just drinks. It’s a great place for beer, but too loud to really hold a conversation. Servers have always been friendly and helpful. Food wise, this last time I split a Cuban and a patty melt with a friend and both were great but I could have eaten 5 more Cubans - so good! My previous meal were shared ribs - delicious of course - and the shrimp tacos which I wouldn’t order again.

The banana pudding had no bananas in it and like 3 cookies. Just a bowl of fluff . highly disappointing as I was craving some banana pudding. The barbeque eggs rolls are amazing though. Try those! Stay away from the banana pudding if you're a texture person. You will be disappointent.
