Have been here a couple times in past few months and it was real good but tonight was pitiful pitiful. The food had grease running out of it, the sides were wrong and never gotten on one person, had to ask for stuff that should have come. Poor young waitress was so overwhelmed trying to keep up but wasn’t that busy. Sad.and on top of that the waitress put my order on my friends bill and I couldn’t eat it sent it back. This place is a joke
Got a take out order bun was hard cheese was melted but meat was extremely cold why warm a bun up to put cold meat between paid 13.00 for 2.00 worth of ingredients
Very poor service and food. I had to ask for a refill ( we had paper cups) and also had to ask for napkins. The waitress did not even introduce herself or come back to check to see if everything was okay. My food came out like 10 minutes after everyone elses. Do not eat here if youre looking for a great night out.
Ate on the new deck which is very pretty!!! And the chairs are so comfy. Ordered our food which was a chicken wrap , a Titanic and an order of salsa con queso. The chicken wrap was good the titanic was okay I think the dip is canned French onion soup that wasn’t great. The salsa con queso was beyond gross . Our server was nice but sucked with coming to check on us I had to call the restaurant to have someone come out since my husband went in and no one was to be found. The server did take the dip off which we did appreciate but definitely will not be coming back.
Good for a lower budget meal. Can be busy which results in slower service, but staff is nice.
This place was .... Fine. We came with a large group of 16 for "linner". We were seated quickly but drinks and food took a while to come out, despite the place being relatively empty. The food was fine. Diner quality. Service was friendly and flexible with checks. With a group that size, there can be limited options but I'd look elsewhere.
Felt more like a local bar than a family place to eat.
Our family visited this Macado's while at an event in Lynchburg. Food was meh... sandwiches aren't too hard to mess up, but we had to request corrections to oir order. but the service was sorely lacking. We were offered a booth, and we also ended up near the bar. Took 40 minutes for order to be served, and when inquiring about the order, the waitress/bartender proceeded to blame it on the order. No apology. 17 minutes later, our order arrives at our table. So we're eating. And I just so happen watch the waitress go to some people at the bar and apologize to them for serving our food to us. They were at the bar drinking and watching tv. We ordered food, waiting to be fed. What in the world.... thought that was a little odd... but the food was finally at the table. After waiting almost an hrs (3 minutes short of an hour), we're eating, and while we eat, customers are seated at 2 tables behind us. Being that it was our waitresses area, I felt sorry that they were brought to our section because we had a waitress also working the bar and have a long wait as we had. Surprise, surprise. These people were sat and served in 25 minutes or less! And of course, we were being squeezed in with service while this 2nd and 3rd group of customers received top of the game service. That was it for me. It took several visits to give us everything we needed to pack up our leftovers and pay. I don't live in Lynchburg, but being so close to a university, I expected better service. Or maybe it was the apology to the people at the bar or the expedited service behind us... we sure didn't get an apology for taking an hour to begin eating and the fast service experience, but service is an important factor to create repeat clients, and it was way below my expectations. Especially considering the restaurant wasn't even crowded. Lastly, the ladies' bathroom was awful! In dire need of cleaning To each his own. Maybe others will have better, but this was our family experience. And not a good one.
