I was watching the Argentinian game there. Amazing atmosphere and super fast service even it was packed. If you want to have an authentic experience watching a soccer game I can def recommend this place.
I usually get the choripan but the empanadas are pretty good too. Plus they're huge. If you're going, try to coordinate (and reserve in advance) a visit when Argentina is playing because the vibes during Argentina matches are immaculate! The only slight downside is the dessert - the alfajores leave a little to be desired and the chocotorta tastes mostly of cream cheese. But I don't count that against them because it's probably down to the type of cream you get in the states vs. Argentina.
Im Argentinian, so I wish I could give the best review. Worst empanadas in my whole life. One of the blue cheese empandas was literally empty, with a dry layer of what seemed to be cheese stuck on the dough. The dough was tasteless cardboard. Could not differentiate between beef and chicken empanada. Both dog food. I tried the empanadas one year ago approx and they were pretty good. I dont know what happened. Never again. Try Empanadas de Mendoza in Tysons Galleria. They are about the same prize and delicious.
This is an outstanding small business. Their menu is simple and straightforward: empanadas, pizzas, a few Argentina sandwiches, and beverages - all of which are well-selected and tasty. Their atmosphere and decor is awesome - a great spot for drinks and light snacks over some board games and tunes.
Space is a little tight in the market. But the Argentine soul is in these empanadas. Owner is a very friendly and unforgettable person. Kept me entertained while food was cooking. Definitely a 11/10. Would love it if it came to my city. Definitely worth a taste
