Stopped by for a slice today 7/11 and so sorry I did! nothing good about it! If you want a great Pizza just walk across the street, Baci's pizza, their food is great. Don't have to cross the street I will park on the right side, P.S> Baci don't charge $2,00 if you pay with a credit card! you need every dime you make, try putting that money in a better quality cheese !!!!!!!!!!! Went back thinking they had a bad day, WRONG, the PIZZA still sucked!
We have had pizza from Luigi's twice. Once as dine in and once as carry out. Inside is rather small so you might have a wait, although we did not when we dined in. We feel the pizza needs more cheese so the second time we ordered with extra cheese which was perfect. The only issue we have is with the sausage. It is cut in thin slices and not in chunks as we prefer. The pizza is very good and it is hand tossed so you can order extra think if want. They also have sub sandwiches and dinners which look very good but we haven't tried them yet. Give Luigi's a try, you won't be disappointed.
Supposedly this is the best pizza in Naples 2 years in a row. I wonder how much they pay for that #1 spot? It's TERRIBLE! I got 2 plain slices and took 2 bites and threw it out. Horrible crust, very bland. The place is dark and dingy, no idea why anyone would dine in. Windows are all covered so no sunlight comes in. Coming from the NY/NJ area I don't expect great pizza but, come on! Maybe a starving dog would eat this.
Left a tip for take not even a thank you
Had italian sub, warmed, and it was very tasty. service was great. Friend had pizza which he enjoyed. Try it won't be disappointed.
There were 3, thumb-sized pieces of charred unknown embedded in the bottom of the crust (see pic). The toppings were not as ordered. The online ordering interface could be better. It was delivered quickly - 30 minutes. Take away the errors and it's a good pizza, not exceptional in any way. And now, incredibly, the owner wants to suggest on Google that it might not have been their pizza. Apparently he is infallible. Sure, there are 3 Luigi's in SWFL. This one is 2 miles from my home. The next closest is 24 miles away. He says that they don't offer delivery, but I'd invite anyone reading this review to simply click on their website and see for yourself. Luigi didn't just sell me a bad pizza, he also proved to be purveyor of a bad attitude.
