Awesome adaptive reuse and coffee. A hidden gem.
This place is a Sunday afternoon vibe. Chill relax place to talk with friends and be blown away with every drink on their menu. I'm a sucker for hidden away coffee shops to begin with, but this one deserves all the stars I can give. Very unique, very Detroit vibes. I love it. Edit 2024: during the weekday, it's a quiet and chill place to work. There's great wifi too. Their playlist slaps, so be warned, the vibe is real. Dietary restrictions: A huge selection of alt milks!
Friendly service and there’s a barber shop??? It’s awesome.
Delicious espresso and talented baristas, comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff.
This place is an actual hidden gem. It’s located inside a gorgeous barber shop which was confusing but once we found it, we were in love. Amazing craft coffee drinks, local vibes, cool merch. The whole 9. We loved our barista Tim, who took the time to make high quality curated coffee drinks for us.
The coffee was very good with interesting twists.
This is counter service only. The coffee is excellent. Lucky Detroit is one of two great choices for coffee in Corktown. The other is James Oliver. Lucky has a much smaller selection of baked goods, but it's a great place to read alone or relax with a friend. It is usually library quiet. I recommend Lucky if you're looking for a simple place to catch up with a friend in Corktown. Parking: Parking on the side street or Michigan Avenue has always been available when I drive over.
Staff had 'tude, very limited food.
DELICIOUS COLD BREW!! I got a pump of the brown sugar flavor, which was amazing too (seemed like it was homemade flavorings but idk for sure). Cozy seating upstairs too.
