I love the lemon pepper chicken and chicken ketsu
Small, no restrooms, but very tasty food! Wish I lived closer, I would definitely come back often.
Mac was watery so was pulled pork and everything tasted burnt ….
I came strictly to try the Loco Moco (with hamburger patty). The Loco Moco was very tasty. The burger had a nicely charred flavor, and the egg and the rice were cooked perfectly. I also ordered Cream Cheese Rangoon. I wasn't very pleased with those. They were over cooked and I didn't detect much cream cheese. But I didn't come for the Rangoon, so you still get my 5 stars ✨️ Great job Love Hawaiian BBQ. Parking: Parking was abundant.
Seems to be a mom and pop restaurant. The food appeared to be house made vs. out of a carton or bag. That with everything combined - I'll come back again. Some constructive feedback to help them be successful because I usually see them slow compared to other places. To be competitive, they need to work on at least 1 of these. Taste, price, or quantity. 1. I found the sauce too salty, and it was drenched over the chicken and beef. Maybe look into a new sauce or maybe different sauces for each meat. If offering a dish that has multiple entrees, they should have separate flavors. Look at ways to boost the recipes. 2. I know costs have gone up across the board. Maybe more specials and have them promoted. Look to the vendors on when you can get a bigger discount for larger purchases. Pass on the savings to drive in more customers. 3. If you can't or won't do the previous suggestions - at least be known as the place that is the biggest bang for the buck.
I'm from Hawaii, lived there until I was 21 yrs. Old, haven't made it back since, & when I saw the Hawaiian BBQ sign I decided to go in & check it out while I waited for my pizza from next door. As soon as I started reading the menu I was immediately transported back home. My favorite snack of all time was in the menu, & I ordered the Spam Musubi. It was well portioned, & much more filling then just eating the usual snack. I've been back & tasted Kalua Pork, even that tasted authentic!! Just love it & am now a regular customer
When I’m in the mood for Hawaiian BBQ Beef, Teriyaki Chicken, Mac Salad and rice this is the only spot I’m going to. Family owned and operated and they do a great job. Food is always on point and the dining area is always clean. P.S. I Recommend the Spam Musubi
