L'Osteria San Barnaba

Pizza's were average but the other couple that was here took seafood and seems happy about it. I didn't appreciate the waiter (owner ?). He was "yelling" ( speaking very loudly) in front of the restaurant trying to get others clients. At least it wasn't expansive.

Amazing food, amazing service. First trip to Venice and found the owner to be one of the most welcoming individuals we’ve come across! The food was amazing (squid ink pasta and the branzino were the highlights) — would definitely recommend stopping by this amazing little gem on your way in to get the true Venetian experience!

Terrible carbonara, without any taste. Instead of guanciale there was some terible ham. The best what i had there was frizante watter.

LOVE the food and ambiance. The staff and food are amazing!! Will be back again!

Nice restaurant on The Fork also to enjoy better price. The service is a bit disorganized but actually funny haha :) Recommended to go for Pasta 🍝🍝

Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis ist wirklich gut. Das Essen, beziehungsweise die Pasta hat super geschmeckt, man wird definitiv satt und die Bedienung ist sehr höflich. Insgesamt ist die gesamte Atmosphäre im Restaurant auch sehr gemütlich. In der Rechnung ist außerdem kein „Coperto“ (Service/Trinkgeld) mit eingebunden.

It was our last night in Venice. Have a great last meal their was key. It was raining cats and dogs, so I chose to stay fairly close to our accommodation. We had the lamb and calamari. All was delicious, but the cost for the calamari was too high for the portion served. In a way, this is a compliment. Nevertheless, it was a good last meal.

Loved it. Small, cosy, little shabby, super tasty spaghetti carbonara, prices don’t bite :)
