I am in town for work and this is my second day in a row eating here. The chopped brisket sandwich, brisket tacos and fried okra are all great. Daniel was very helpful in making suggestions and assuring great service. Only suggestion I would make is wiping off the tables, many of them were dirty so it was hard to find a seat. Definitely will be back next time I’m in town!
It took quite a bit of time to get our complete order. Parking: The parking garage is quite a walk to the eatery. You will get some steps in.
First time here and the atmosphere was great. Brisket was great! Mexican corn was bomb! Customer service was great, too. Daniel played a huge role in making our first experience special. Thanks Daniel and we will be back!
This was our first time here. Daniel took our order and he recommended us the best of the best! Had great energy a very welcoming. The manager was also great, but Daniel really made our lunch special. Thanks Daniel!
I booked Loop 9 for a catering event and I am so glad I did! They were so great to work with and not only provided amazing food, but amazing, timely service as well!
The rib was extra $$ and it was dry. The potatoes in the potato salad were hard/under cooked. The brisket was a little fatty, but ok. The atmosphere is a little loud. If you are looking for really good BBQ… Keep searching.
Came here for a work lunch. I've got pretty high standards when it comes to BBQ, but this place did not disappoint. Meat was tender and well seasoned, cooked to perfection. My only complaint was the beans: being a Midwesterner, I was expecting more of a BBQ baked beans style of side, whereas theirs is more like a southern bean soup, almost? But that's on me for not paying closer attention when ordering, not the fault of the restaurant by any means. Will definitely be back again!
The atmosphere is nice, but the staff, food quality and pricing is below par not worth it, there are better BBQ places in DFW. To start even with a full staff + trainees they were unable to serve the only family in the restaurant accurately. Tried ordering as advertised on the physical menu and menu above counter the "the 1/2 LB Beef Rib", but kitchen and staff don't let us order it, "because we only sell it by LB". Why even advertise a whole section of your menu by 1/2LB if you can't do it properly and are going to forget my free roll, sauces, jalapeno that are advertised when buying anything under the 1/2lb section. They also gave us 1/8th of a lb when i ordered 1/4th lb of brisket, had to go back to the counter because it didn't look right and they had to weigh it and realize I was right. Another thing I hated was the jalapeno sausage being cold. Lastly they keep all the bbq sauce bottles you are allowed to use by the cashier and they don't let you know, "hey feel free to use it for your meal". I didn't even realize they had bbq until after eating. Not surprised why it was empty during peak dinner hours.
I was about to walk in this restaurant until the workers from the back started cat calling me thru the gate. So turned off from this place. Please teach your employees some manners.
Sweet people but the food is not very tasty.
