Got their pressed cuban, it was just okay. Actually the pressed cuban at 7-ELEVEN is much better.
The sunny bird with wild rice bread is freaking delicious. On vacation for four days and went here for lunch twice. Service was super fast and the sides were a good portion. Got the sunny again and the Albuquerque Turkey the second day and the turkey was just a regular turkey sandwich so wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for something original.
Bummer thought this would be a good lunch spot- got the strawberry salad and added chicken. $16. Took it to go but 2 bites in realized I had already consumed the 1/2 tablespoon of diced chicken and it was mostly romaine lettuce and an uninspired balsamic.
Try the sunny bird. So good!
First time trying Lonni's. Work in the area and stopped in for lunch. They come highly recommend by anyone I've asked. I love Cubans and it's on special on Wednesdays. The cuban sandwich is great and was a good price. Not the best you'll ever have, but would absolutely order again! They are very busy during lunch but also move very quickly which is great. Their menu looks amazing and I will absolutely be back to try more options and bring my co-workers.
Nice little sidewalk café in downtown St. Pete. Fair prices and good sandwiches. Ate here on a nice January day in early 2024. I had the hot corned beef sandwich, chips, and a tea. Nice vibe sitting on the sidewalk and people watching. Will go again if in the area.
Have eaten in the restaurant and gotten sandwiches to go multiple times and everything is always delicious. I really like the Turkey Reubenette and the Sunny Bird. The bread is fresh and the staff are friendly.
