It's an easy-drinking light ale with a slight rustic edge.

      Rye Whiskey Barrel-Aged English-style barleywine, 11% abv, 60 IBU. Brewed to celebrate our two-year anniversary in 2021 as your local neighborhood brewery & taproom. Loaded with Maltwerks Pale & Aromatic malts & light crystal specialty malt, this strong British-style ale was strengthened even more with caramelized invert sugar & raw cane sugar. It was aged for a year in two Rittenhouse rye whiskey barrels. An enjoyable smooth sipping ale with warming notes of caramel, whiskey, brown sugar & toasted walnuts. To top it off, we added a total of nearly 100 lbs of deeply caramelized honey (called 'melter honey') at two points in the brewing process to provide some caramel & honey sweetness.

      Double dry hopped double IPA, 8% abv, 60 IBU. For our newest version (technically version 5.1) of this double IPA we used two different forms of Citra hops (concentrated liquid & standard pellets) as well as a recent hop variety called Idaho Gem dry hopped at nearly 7 pounds of hops per barrel. With a little sweetness to balance out any bitterness , it has loads of juicy tropical citrus fruit notes!

Our first leap into the world of hard seltzers, this ultra-refreshing hard seltzer was made with clean filtered water, organic cane sugar & a special fast fermenting yeast. We added Michigan-grown Montmorency cherry juice & all-natural lime (hence the intense red color & citrusy Key Lime-like aroma) to create your ultimate late summer beverage! No artificial flavors or extracts were used & all ingredients were certified gluten-free, so this hard seltzer is as free of gluten as it gets!

Expect notes of orange candy and a bit of hop-driven resin alongside a malty and bready backbone courtesy of a bit of locally grown triticale grain.

      Witbier, 5% abv, 15 IBU. A classic unfiltered witbier named as a nod to the local historic Seppmann mill outside of Mankato. Brewed with several hundred pounds of locally grown wheat from Fischer's Sleepy Bison Acres in Sleepy Eye, MN. We added a blend of freshly crushed coriander and Grains of Paradise with real orange zest alongside a citrus-forward yeast strain to bring out a delicate blend of citrus and spice. Witbiers are probably the most drinkable of beers out there, pairing with almost any food and any weather (and for many people, a gateway beer to craft beer)

    • Locality #1 Aronia Sour Bottle

      Wine barrel-aged sour beer with aronia berries, 6% abv, 5 IBU. This is our first fruited barrel-aged sour beer that was aged in a neutral red wine barrel with a mixed culture of bacteria & wild yeast then aged on with about 400 lbs of locally grown organic aronia berries from Janesville, MN. A deep ruby & magenta color, it has light tannins from both the fruit & barrels with some funk & acidity. This is the first in our series of mixed culture sour beers using locally grown fruit or produce.

      Mixed culture sour beer, 6% abv, 5 IBU. This is an intensely funky & sour mixed culture sour beer that started its life as an amber sour beer aged in white wine barrels for over a year with a mix of wild yeast & bacteria. It was then transferred onto nearly 400 lbs of locally grown watermelon from our good friends at Cedar Crate Farm near Mankato! Don't expect the usual juicy watermelon notes; this sour beer is brimming with earthy, somewhat fruity complex funk.

Plenty of tart funk with lemon & citrus notes. This beer is bottle conditioned so it can be cellared but we suggest drinking it sooner than later (it is a 25.4 fl oz bottle).

It started as a strong saison brewed with MN grown grain & hops, then spent over a year in neutral white wine barrels with wild yeast & bacteria. It is super funky with lots of tart acidity & tannins. It is a bottled conditioned beer, so it can be cellared but we recommend drinking it sooner than later (it is a 25.4 fl oz bottle). *Caution: this is a highly complex sour beer, so be prepared for an "acid" trip on the funky side.*
