Great place for good Barbecue

Let me start off by saying the staff and atmosphere is amazing! It’s a small town, mom and pop type of restaurant. My husband and I have heard great things about this place so we drove 2 hours to come and try it. It was extremely disappointing to say the least. They do not have ribs, potato salad, sausage, or other typical bbq items. They have very bland brisket, turkey and pork shoulder. The best way I can describe it is like cafeteria food bbq. We ordered a sliced bbq sandwich, chopped bbq sandwich, cheese burger, fries and pecan pie.
