Leonidas Cafe Chocolaterie

After winning awards in World Fair for his chocolates, in 1913 Leonidas Kistakedis set up his cafe in Ghent, Belgium, offering chocolates and pastry. We have continued that offering in our three Chicago-Evanston-Northbrook stores. In Chicago, we offer Fresh Belgian Chocolates, dark chocolate, truffles, French pastry, espresso bar, creperie (sweet and savory), Belgian waffles, croissants and warm croissant sandwiches, quiche, French pastry, macarons, smoothies, fresh squeeze OJ and gelato. On 15 November 2013 King Philippe of Belgium announced that Leonidas was awarded a place on this list of certified purveyors to the royal household for its exceptional quality.
