I checked the ‘live stock sheet’ on Saturday morning and was pleased to find that what I wanted was showing as in stock. I made a special trip just to go and buy it from Leila’s Shop. When I got there, I said hello to the proprietor, who was sitting behind the counter. I asked if she had what I wanted, and she barely looked up from her phone as she said ‘there’s a supply chain issue. You can get it on Amazon.’ Despite her brusque manner, she makes a good point - I’ll certainly be seeking any viable alternative to returning there in the future. I wasted my time in reliance on her faulty information and was met with summary dismissal. I have also been to the shop on a previous occasion and found that it was closed, despite the indication online that it would be open. I have to conclude that the person who runs this place has total contempt for her customers.
Rude woman sells dry buns from yesterday.
Other reviews say it all. Woman who runs this shop is unpleasant and rude. What a shame. Sort it out. I'm embarrassed on your behalf. Nice veg doesn't give you carte blanche to act like a troll.
The lady that owns, or maybe just manages, but I assume owns the restaurant is incredibly rude and unkind. High chance of walking away having had a worse day then before you walked in.
laptop free zone but no warning about that anywhere and was only told once we had already ordered food, so too late to go elsewhere.. I asked if I could use my laptop outside as I had to deal with something urgent and was told I couldn't so I ended up having to deal with my stuff from a bench in the square nearby. If you're going to have a policy that's anti living irl, at least advertise it somewhere. Food was nice.
