Beautiful location next to Segerstrom on Avenue of the Arts. The inside has unique lighting, dimmer, intimate and very quiet. Limited menu for food and wine. The service is impeccable and as such, combined with locale and ambiance it earns four stars. The filet (see picture) was a decent size, cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning and minimal of the advertised peppercorn flavor. Food wasn’t better than three stars. For one, wine and a steak came to $60ish. It was enjoyable but I’ll go elsewhere the next time I’m here for a play. Parking: I prefer to Uber; less hassle.
Love it! Absolutely great food, perfect service, nice atmosphere.
First time in this Restaurant, food is good but in the smaller size plates. I don’t eat much so it’s perfect, but for someone who has a bigger appetite will probably be hungry unless you order several appetizers, for two us, we order salad, fish, and risotto a glass of wine and dessert $196.00 with tip Parking: We pay for Valet very easy to walk to restaurant
Salmon starter was excellent...best we ever had. Everything tasted very good, but we left hungry. Dessert with strawberries and creme disappointing. Server was attentive and readily available. Phoned twice...no one answered; left a message but no one called back. Valet arrives around 5 (handicapped customer). Ended up parking ourselves since our reservation was at 5; not cafe's fault for valet, but was the subject of the phone call/message.
Vreat place. Great food. Highly recommended
Reservation is a must or will be setting at the bar. It's a very expensive place to eat but just a walk away from the theater. The food options is less but the salmon was the best. Yet, the chocolate mousse cake was delicious and pretty.
Ordered Halibut with Tomato soup. Fish was little dried, Tomato soup was little salty but staff members were very nice. They were the best but not the food.
