Super nice atmosphere and our server was genuine. This restaurant makes accomodations for food restrictions. The price is a littleeee bit high for what you get. But, they definitely make up for that with the tableside cooking.
I visited Le Continental for dinner a while ago. The restaurant had a formal yet friendly ambience that is suitable for any group size. In terms of food, I tried the Fillet of beef tartar and Creme Brulee. One of the highlights was the presentation and the making of the meal right in front of you. The food was another highlight. For the beef tartar, it tasted clean (no raw taste) and had a good combination of flavour, texture, and everything. Ingredients/condiments included onion, capers, anchovies, and parsley, egg, lime, tabasco, oil/vinegar, mustard, pepper, and worcestershire sauce/brandy. The food went fairly well with red wine (i.e. Pinot Noir). The creme brulee had a good flavour that was not too sweet and was smooth/silky, and soothing. Overall, I’d give it 8.5/10
