Here is my honest assessment of LaRosa's and our experience. Let me preface this by saying that I originally come from the Cleveland area where they have REAL pizza. Th ordering process(by phone) and pick-up were excellent and well organized. Now for the pizza. Here are my ratings from 1-10(10 being the best): Crust: 3 It wasn't crispy at all and with little flavor Sauce: 4 This was very sweet (reminded me of Romeo's) and honestly tasted more like a pasta sauce versus one for pizza. It was really poor and did taste like it is very processed and came out of a can. Honestly I could start tomorrow and make a much better one and a real Italian Nona would never make it taste like this. Why do so many shops continue to believe that the sauce has to be so sweet? This is an immediate turnoff for us. Toppings: 2 We ordered "spicy" Italian sausage and green peppers. First of all the amount of toppings was very small, and the Italian sausage was not spicy at all and with little presence(along with the peppers) on the pie. Overall this was a very disappointing experience. We had high expectations and came into this thinking that because it was a successful family business that this would be a good choice but it was anything but that so doubt that we will order from there again. My recommendation is to stick with something like nearby Enrico's which is much better. I continue to try and find "real" pizza in the Columbus area, but continue to find that there is nothing like what is available in the Cleveland area which is sooooooooo different and much, much better.
Quick service and great food.
My first time at this place. I was in town for an appointment. I've never had crust on a pizza be so fluffy and fresh. This pizza was delicious. It doesn't taste like any other pizza that I've tried here in Ohio. I wish this place was closer to me.
I love coming here for lunch. They always throw in plates and napkins for my guys and the pizza is always perfect And the wait time is always 10 minutes great place
Sophia was an amazing server! She made us feel like family in there and went above and beyond with her customer service- thank you Sophia!
I ordered two pizzas today, which cost $42 in store, but charged by $56 when I pick them up. They told me that because I ordered them through DoorDash, and provided me two copies of receipts for $42 and $56. @LoRosa and @DoorDash that is very interesting, and please explain. I want to have the $14 back, if not, I hope that $14 can make you rich. I also suggest all the people who want to order pizza from Larosa should pay attention to this, since DoorDash is the default option if you search using google map.
