A taste of Paris located inside the heart of Newton. Not bad! The lamination on the croissants were amazing, and not greasy or overly heavy as some tend to be. The variety of treats is overwhelming (in a good way!) but nonetheless a great spot to go to. Just a little crowded at busy times.
Definitely pricy but so worth it the coconut passion fruit flower is by far my fav
French style cafe with a wide range of cacke, croissants, and deserts. They're freshly cooked and quickly taken apart.
Only had 2 selections of croissants. Very disappointing. Call before to make sure they have what you want.
I was so excited to hear that they had started taking preorders, rather than requiring early morning scrambling and long lines to try their delicious looking croissants. However, I was very disappointed to find all the croissants I ordered tasted incredibly stale. The filling were delicious, but the stale sough really ruined the experience for me. Especially for how expensive each croissant is, I’d say these are not worth the hassle and the cost.
The establishment is perennially bustling, often boasting a lengthy queue to enter its hallowed confines! Their croissants are exquisite, and the weekend specials simply delightful! Indulge in the tiramisu croissant and brioche, cherished favorites of mine! Each croissant is a decadent delight, bearing the weight of a sumptuous dessert! The buttery croissants are impeccably crusty and delicious; savor them in the ambiance of the shop! The coffee offerings are also commendable! Alas, seating accommodations are limited for those seeking to partake in situ! Parking: Street parking is available but make sure you pay extra as there are high chances that they will ticket you
As close to France as you’ll get when it comes to these pastries! Definitely get there early before it opens especially if you don’t want to wait in a long line. The weekend specialty pastries are always a hit! Crème brûlée being my favorite! Not much of a dining in space, but more of a takeout. Tables are outside during the warmer months which is a plus!
This is my first time i went there for popular viral croissant to taste and trt but it was our bad luck that by the time we reached there around 2-3:00 PM on Sunday, all croissant or anything thats we saw on internet (wow) stuff was all gone. Whatever we got was just okay on taste wise and lil bit pricy for that piece .. (everything is expensive these days) . I will certainly go again there to try out the main viral stuff and rewind my review here. For now i will stay with 3- star for food, service and atmosphere. We purchased Mango Lassi Entrement and Praline Paris Brest (as just they were available ) I would recommend to go give a try for the Hype but don’t expect cheap though on price . But Boston has lot more of bakery and breakfast place with better taste foodwise and price, so shoud support all local businesses
