La Tejana

La Tejana was co-founded by Rio Grande Valley native Ana-Maria Jaramillo and DC native Gus May. Jaramillo grew up on both sides of the Texas/Mexico border, having spent the first several years of her life in Monterrey, Mexico before her family settled in McAllen, Texas. La Tejana is an award winning Tex-Mex breakfast taco shop by day and a casual neighborhood cocktail bar by night, offering a mix of classic and contemporary cocktails and bar snacks inspired by Jaramillo's Rio Grande Valley roots (puro pinche 956).
