La Piccola Caffetteria

A nice little establishment with excellent coffee, wines, and sandwiches and pastries. I was going to give this place five stars but realized that they sneak in a service charge, something we did not encounter in Cagliari any place else. I tipped, not realizing this, and even though the amount is really small, this is a pet peeve of mine because I feel it's only done to tourists.

This Caffeteria is located in a side street of the City Center. Due to the good ratings we gave it a try. Inside it is looking nice. You will feel well although the chairs are not comfortable and the table was shaky. We have ordered Cappucino, Espresso and a piece of Coconut Cheese Cake. The Cappucino was almost cold and containing about 70% of milk foam. The taste of the cake was below average. The Service was not attentive at all although there was enough staff. We needed to pay the bill at the Cashpoint. The bill was not presented before paying. After paying we have got the receipt and till now we don't understand the bill and calculation. Locale molto carino. Prezzi un po' elevati e personale gentile. Tutto sommato lo consiglio.
