Pupusas are good. Service very bad. The cashier with glasses looked annoyed when I was ordering or asked questions. Good atmosphere and food overall!
I’ve been here a couple times now and the pupusas were excellent both times - especially the chorizo y queso. Takes a little while longer to get food from here compared to other places in La Cosecha but you can tell it’s made fresh and worth the wait.
Pupusas that were freshly made, like in front of you. That alone was awesome. Pupusas were cheesy and rich. Only downside was the curtido. It wasn’t vinegary or salty enough. I’d give this closer to a 4.5.
I've come twice, once for pupusas, and today for tacos. The pupusas are delicious. They're warm and filled well. I'd like a little more slaw and sauce, but ultimately very good.
The tacos made me sad. They look pretty good, but the tortillas were very thick (almost like an empty pupusa, but dry), and had very little meat on them. They didn't come with any salsa. The rice and beans were quite good though.
Skip the tacos, grab some pupusas.
4 dollars for an ok pupusa I evil
Came here to get some pupusa as I had been craving some for a while! We came on a busy Sunday, and the wait wasn’t too bad considering they make the pupusas from scratch. The pupusa themselves were good!

La Casita Review: Excellent Quality and Great Value
Located in La Cosecha, La Casita stands out for its delicious and affordable Latin cuisine. The bistec sandwich is a favorite, known for its high quality and great price (around $11). The carne plate is also a solid choice. While they offer a variety of other items like pupusas and breakfast dishes that I haven't tried yet, the food and drinks consistently impress. Overall, La Casita offers some of the best prices in DC without compromising on quality.
Un buen lugar donde puedes disfrutar con familia un ambien muy agradable ❤️
The person who takes the order, needs training in customer service, looks angry he doesn’t like his job . I want to clarify that was the guy who has a beard, because the other is very nice.
My order was missing items (drinks) and when I call the answer was basically “not my problem”. It’s unfortunate as this WAS a place I order food religiously…
The enchiladas I ordered were swimming in oil. So disgusting!
