I tried this place during the summer as it is super close to my house (its taken me a while to write a review because I wanted to have more experiences visiting cigar lounges before making an honest opinion). Was greeted very nicely when I walked in by one gentleman that was sweeping the floor I told him I was new to the cigar hobby about a year or so and had only been to one lounge across town and wanted to check out this one closer to my house. He was leaving but handed me off to a taller gentleman (Scott I believe his name was?) He showed me around. The lounge was ok a little dirty but ok (since I visited there I have been to many other lounges locally and around the country so I have bassist for comparison) the outdoor area was very unimpressive to me (unless you like smoking on a paint peeling deck staring at the garbage dumpsters behind Party City). Still was willing to give it a chance so I entered the humidor and started looking at the selection unfortunately not much of a choice in my favorite cigar brand (only about a 1/4 of what they offer) but was still looking at what else they had that's when my experience turned for the bad the guy at the front counter (again I think his name was Scott) came in and asked me if everything was okay and I said yeah, I was just looking so about 5 minutes went by and he came back in again and said are you sure you're okay? And I said yeah, I'm just still looking around deciding what i want another 10 minutes or so went by. He comes back in again and says Are you sure you don't need any help? He kind of made me feel like he was suspicious like I was trying to steal something or something like that. Just a very uncomfortable feeling. Then I chose what I wanted. And I went to go check out. I get to the counter he rings up the 4 cigars that I purchased gives me the total and it is way over what it should be. I'm looking at the prices on the cigars. Thinking he's got to be nuts so I was about to give him my card and then I decided to question it and tell him that I thought the total was not right. He looked at me like I was crazy and then I started to show him the price tags, he said oh, I'm sorry it looks like I rang up the total from the last sale. I must have hit repeat or something to that affect He rang it up again and it was way less than what he originally said. So I was about to just tell him he could keep the cigars and I will just continue to go to the place that I go to in Maumee but I was on my way to a festival and wanted to take some cigars with me. So I bought them but on the way out. I told him I didn't think I would be back. Since then I have heard similar stories from guys I smoked with at other lounges that had a similar experience. Make your own opinion on the place. But a word of caution to always look at the prices of what they are ringing up. Because that was just a very suspicious thing and I will not be back in there again because of that. It takes 10 seconds to lose a customer. I will continue to drive across town at my original lounge (which is just out of the city of Toledo limits) to get my cigars and get more friendly service.
The person at the counter was more than willing to help me. Has the ones that make your head sweat/spin/honest/true. I was lucky enough to sit on the leather sofa and indulge
