During my visit to Kumako Ramen & Sushi in 2019, I was treated to an exceptional culinary experience that seamlessly blended traditional flavors with contemporary presentation. The ambiance of Kumako Ramen & Sushi exuded authenticity and warmth, providing a welcoming setting for a delightful meal. The menu showcased a diverse selection of both ramen and sushi, each dish a testament to the chef's dedication to culinary excellence.
Food was decent, but wait time was very long because the service was slow. It took a long time to take our order and a long time for our food to arrive
Acceptable bowl of ramen, nothing special. Eggs were not properly seasoned or marinated, pretty bland. Noodles and chashu were just okay, I like bouncier noodles that have more flavor. Tonkotsu broth didn't have a lot of flavor either, and was good to drink by itself but left the noodles tasting pretty bland. Gyoza were better than most places around here, still a far cry from Japan.
The Katsu curry ramen was to die for. So delicious and flavorful. I felt like I experienced heaven every bite. Thank you for a great meal and experience. I'm introverted and it can feel a little crowded for me but once you sit down and try that dish, its just you and that amazingness.
