K. Rico was created by Tommy Greco and Christian Tanno, who met each other on their first day of kindergarten back in the '80s. Later on, during extensive travels throughout Latin America, they became enamored with the diverse cuisines, cultures and flavors from many lands, and wanted to offer an authentic experience based on these culinary and cultural adventures. At K. Rico, the butchering and Dry-Aging is done in house, and the cuts are displayed at the table before ordering, for a very unique and memorable New York City dining experience.
