Kontentsu of Montrose

They’re very inconsistent with opening times, went in at 2:30 they refused to seat me and claimed they closed when it says online that they close at 3. Went back at 4:15ish to go in at 4:30 they said come back at 5…..when it says they open at 4:30…get it together this is ridiculous.

Such good ramen! The black tonkatsu is especially good, we also had the spicy gyoza which was delicious!

I absolutely love this restaurant. This is our go to ramen place and has been for years. The spicy tuna crisp appetizer is soooo good

The best in Japanese cuisine

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. Unbelievably amazing ramen everything is just right with flavor and spice. Very laid back aesthetic and service was wonderful. I ordered and highly recommend the spicy tonkotsu it was probably the best I have had in Los Angeles. Outside of the amazing ramen they have so much more to offer. I cannot gush over this place enough. If I could I would give it 6 stars out of 5 just for having Sapporo and asahi on draft on top of everything else.
