King of Donair

Got delivery. Garlic fingers were pretty good. The person threw in an extra sauce for free for it. Pizzas were greasy and not at all what I expected. In lacewood not great. Much prefer Pizzaland. Definitely not worth what we paid. Not going to order again. Very nice staff, fast delivery, service wise Very good. But food wise Very disappointing. Lack of toppings, salty and greasy. Definitely not what I remember KOD being back in the day. May just be this location but Definitely turned me off from their food.

The donairs were delicious and the meat was juicy and it tasted great. That is the reason why they are called KING OF DONAIR

The price for the food is great and the food is high quality. Defintely they deserve a 5 star review from me.

In my personal opinion they have the best donairs in all Nova Scotia. I love them !!!!

It has been an excelklent experience going here. I havenever had nay trouble. Always got my food on time.

I will say it's a little difficult to be objective with this review since I am an out of towner. I can understand this kind of donair is different from others. So just to pick on the food itself, I will start that the value is there. For a cheapish bite of East Coast donair, it's not bad. The quality of meat is okay, compared to other shawarma spots it is flavourful. If you're not from the East Coast be warned they use a sweet sauce not a garlic one. It is certainly not my preference and caught me off guard. Also got these garlic bites and the seasoning is delicious but the texture is almost eating stale but chewy bread. Overall, it is not what I suspected, maybe I can develop a palette over time, quality is good for the price point.
